About

I am a devoted, enthusiastic UX researcher, driven by pure curiosity and care to help businesses create better human experiences.

Over the years, I have relied on field studies, contextual inquiry interviews, quantitative + qualitative surveys and usability testing - simply: empathetic, human-centred, mixed method research - to provide the backbone of knowing whether real data validates assumptions, intimately understand the delights and disappointments of a user’s journey, and quickly determine actionable next steps.

My entrepreneurial background, combined with being a natural born empath, also allows me to effortlessly flow as a "translation layer" between stakeholders, design/dev teams and end users. I have acted in all of these roles myself, so it is a joy for me to help facilitate understanding, clarity and efficient collaboration between all players.

I don’t know everything, and that’s the fun part! Endless curiosity drives my desire to help improve products, the user’s experience, and company culture as whole, in projects humble or great.

Ultimately, I invite collaboration with caring work-families where my smiles, boundless energy and all I have to share - and all I have to yet learn - is welcome.

Education

Founding/operating KnottyBoy.com + PetFam.com as a young entrepreneur, and my extensive client work in UX research + product development, has comprised the majority of my rich work education. I am a devoted student of learning how to make tomorrow better than today, and am forever grateful for the working education this full life has gifted me thus far.

Breathwork is a form of active meditation, often practiced solo or in a group setting with a trained facilitator. Breathwork is a gentle, therapeutic practice that stimulates the parasympathetic (rest + digest) nervous system by engaging the body in a variety of extra-ordinary breath patterns, set to music. This can result in sustained dreamlike or mildly psychedelic states of deep relaxation, euphoria and gentle trauma release/integration. A certified Breathwork facilitator should always be…

A certified Breathwork facilitator should always be trauma informed, establishing a safe, peaceful space, in which participants are invited to simply turn inward, rest, and breathe. Facilitators may also offer occasional vocal guidance, and with permission, light touch to facilitate deeper relaxation in areas of tension held in the body. A Breathwork session is typically 1 - 1.5hrs, with ample time for sharing, rest and integration.
